SPLASH PAGE

Simple and cool. I love the concept of the buttons coming across the page using a marquee script! 7/10

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

An awesome colour combination using colours that definitely match. I'm not too crash hot on the picture though, it's kind of slutty. Your site name as well is rather intriguing, I hope to find out how it was so aptly named during my parusal of your site. 7/10

LAYOUT

As I said before, I'm not too keen on the picture but I will say that it goes well with the colours you've chosen. The font colour you've used against the darker background tends to look slightly over-contrasting, but given the dark burgundy background, I can't think of any other suitable colours either. Burgundy can be a tricky colour to work with when it comes to finding a text colour to suit it. Is there much of a need for scrollbars at the bottom, when there's only a few centimetres of scrolling? If you reduce the size of your frame there'll be no need to scroll, it seems pointless. Additionally, I'm sort of wondering why you've left aligned all your text in your blog to the left, when your actual content pages are centrally aligned. You've got the room to spread out your text more, and if you justify the text to the left and get rid of the line breaks after every few words (I checked your code), the text will spread itself across your frame instead of clustering to the left. 12/20

CONTENT

Although it was a quick read, the brief details you provided about yourself were interesting to read. It's cool that you like horror movies :) Several pages in your "Me" section are under construction, but at least you've stated this fact and I look forward to seeing them up soon. I was completely blown away by your poetry, especially given the fact you're just 13. This is top quality stuff, Sophia! My favourite was "Blue Eyes". I'm not just saying this, but your work is definitely worthy of being published. Onto the Visitors section now, and all of the pages here excluding the games page and the external Radio link are still under construction, so there's nothing really I can comment on here. You have some great pages in waiting though, and I'm looking forward to seeing them up, especially the Contests and Graphics pages. The pages in the Interact section are cool, but I think the Plugboard would be better categorised in the Visitors section instead. Addtionally, the remaining Interact contents such as the guestbook, sibling form and tagboard would be more appropriate for the Site section. 17/20

SUMMARY

Sodabeer is clearly a successful site - it's fun, entertaining, and absolutely made with the visitors needs' in mind. Throughout your site, you come across as a genuinely friendly, happy person, and I think that's really cool. Not only do you have a great website - you are a great webmaster as well, and that's what makes your site I think. If you were boring and not the friendliest person on earth Sodabeer wouldnt be what it is! I would never have been able to make a site even half as good as yours is when I was 13. Keep this effort up and Sodabeer (or whatever it evolves into later) will continue to be successful for a very long time, I really think you have what it takes.
