Quality Indication System (QIS)
Pronounced "Kwiss", and most certainly not "Kiss". This system has been put in place as a means of indicating the overall quality of your website. In other words, a glorified star butterfly-rating system that provides a rough "score" solely based on my own opinion. Hott!
Here's a breakdown to what each rating means. If you're looking for some tips on how your site can achieve a higher rating, please check out the "Info and Rules" section.
In my opinion, a QIS rating of three or above is standard.
On occasion 2.5, 3.5 and 4.5 star ratings are also awarded
Remember, team, other WPR's may have their stars, but there's only one QIS in town.
Half a star = WTF?
Wow, there's a really long road ahead of you baby. Reserved for the shocking sites who think that getting reviewed is a game, webmasters who are not at a reviewing stage yet. Why did you submit your site?
One star = Whoa...
Everything needs improving urgently! Argh! Reviewing your site proved tedious - in some cases it seems you have not put a great deal of effort into your site so why should I put a great deal of effort into my review? Your layout may be shocking, your content may be generic as fuck. Perhaps both? In any case, your site contains an absolute litany of mistakes thus resulting in this poor one star rating. Cut the crap, make the zillions of changes needed and come back - I guarantee that if you do this your next rating will be higher.
Two stars = Meh
Not particularly impressed. Improvements need to be made urgently to areas stated in review. There are a few good aspects of your site as outlined in my review, but the negative aspects definitely outweigh the positive. Your site is okay, but it could easily be made a heck of a lot better.
Three stars = Not bad, not bad
A standard site with average content. Improvements in several areas are recommended. The "C+" of QIS ratings. There's nothing wrong with a C+ as it is a "pass" if you like, but with a little time and effort you could easily turn your site into a 4 - 5 rating next time around.
Four stars = Great work!
An extremely decent website that I enjoyed reviewing and would definitely recommend to others. More care needs to be made to minor issues addressed in review.
Five stars = Pure excellence
I love your site and am insanely jealous. Your originality and your overall skill impressed me very much, and you definitely have a site to be proud of. There is no such thing as a perfect site, but yours is pretty damn close. Your content is totally original, your layout is aesthetically pleasing and it is clear that you've put a lot of effort into your site. Congratulations, your site is one of the best!
