SPLASH PAGE

Is this your splash? All I see are four Friends avatars, with "Friends (Jennifer Aniston)" in a huge size seven font, with a Comic Sans font face. I guess I'll click on one of these and try my luck. The avatars themselves are very well done, but I'm rather taken aback by the usage of them on this entrance page. Since it IS an entrance page, you ought to state any necessary site requirements, and at least the word "enter". 4/10

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

Is this it then? A plain page with four links, and a picture of Jennifer Aniston from google images? Couldn't you have done the poor girl some justice at all, she is going through a bad time in her life as it is. The purple scrollbars are all right I suppose, but there's not a lot of effort here is there? I'm wondering how many minutes it took you to construct this "layout", five minutes or three? 0/10

LAYOUT

Oh dearie dearie me. Your site name is somewhat alluding, isn't it? I mean, "Iconwhiz" would normally indicate to me that you had a talent for making icons, ergo making graphics. This talent remains unseen. I don't understand how downright lazy you've been with making this "layout", and believe me I'm using term loosely. Making a layout does not mean finding a random image and doing absolutely nothing with it. Since you're apparently a whiz at making icons, you should therefore hold some sort of competence at making graphics, so the question is why did you not apply these apparent skills to your layout? There's one positive note to all of this though - so far your site is the only Piczo site I have seen that does not contain horrifically long horizontal scrollbars. So credit to you for not messing up your site in this way. That's why I've decided to give you one point, instead of zero. 1/20

CONTENT

Righto then, the first section is called "Etc" - containing a page of Icons, Past Layouts, and "Guys should know". You didn't make these icons yourself, did you? It's just that some of them are rather good, is all. The main reason I think you didn't make them is because quite a few of them contain some advanced animation features that would involve a reasonable level of skill, and dedication. Going by your slap-bang, untouched image of Jennifer Aniston on your layout, well...surely if you made these mighty fine icons yourself you would have a layout that matched the quality of your icons. If my assumption is right, you need to credit the makers of these icons. If my assumption is wrong, you need to state that you made them. "Past Layouts" - you state "all the layouts on my site were taken from sites in my top ten. they're terrific." - OH! Oh really? So does that mean you didn't even make your layouts, any of them? Dear God. No, you definitely did not make any icons my dear. "Guys Should Know" - neon green text against a white background does not work, okay? My eyes are suffering more than you know. Since I cannot actually read this page without having an epileptic fit due to the dizzyness, I won't review it. The only thing guys need to know is that they're pricks, anyway. Next section - "Top Ten Sites I &heart" - a list of ten Piczo sites that you admire. Nothing special about this page at all. Tell me, have you ever ventured outside of Piczo? If you decide to one day, you'll be pleasantly surprised at the high standard of websites out there. I've seen websites by 12 year olds that are better than this. Then again I have no idea of your age, due to the fact there is NO information about yourself at all at your site. Nothing. Nada. Third section - "Feedback" - a guestbook. Lovely. Let's move on to your final section then...hey, wait, "Guestbook"? But but but...? Oh fuck it, I'm not even going to bother. 0/20

SUMMARY

Firstly, I must say congratulations, for you have received the lowest score ever at Petshopgirls Reviews. Your site has no originality whatsoever, and you haven't even made any of the graphics yourself. As for your content - what content? Icons and layouts you didn't even make, and a page about what guys think, clearly copied and pasted from forwardgarden.com? Why do you have a website? The only effort from you I have seen here is some purple scrollbars. If I actually knew more about you, specifically your age, I might not have been so hard on you, but how am I supposed to know how old you are when you have no information about yourself at all? A good website consists of the following components - an original layout made by you, original content, some information about the site owner, original designs and ideas, and even a blog. Your site has none of this. This isn't even a website. My cat Tigger, who is retarded, could do a better job than this. You need to put in some effort in order to be able to class your site as decent. You need to create your own graphics. You need content. You need a lot of things, I think...
