FIRST IMPRESSIONS

Loving the little "Welcome loser to Surrealistic-Fantasy.net"... great attitude! Loading time was a little slow, but nothing to have a spastic over. 10/10

LAYOUT

So, who's Brody Dale when he's at home, some punk-cum-transexual guy wearing womans clothes judging from your layout! I googled the name and yeah, never heard of the Distillers. Then again I'm not exactly into the modern punk scene or anything...give me some old school Marilyn Manson any day! I know you're probably thinking I'm some kind of freak right now, but yeah I'm not really into any "current / popular" music. So, your layout so far has led me to discover the identity of Brody Dale...but what else? Well, it's unique, for starters! You've done a fantastic job designing this layout, and you've paid a lot of attention to detail which is great! I love the wavey lines at the bottom leading up to the heart, and the star at the top provides the finishing touch to this highly original image. Your blending of the various shades of red and black look professional, making your colour combining skills very evident. I'm not too sure about the circular effect on the outer edges of the layout though, they look slightly out of place and they don't suit the style of your layout. Apart from that minor flaw, your layout is superbly designed and your talent in the graphic design area really shines. Your navigation has also been set out well, with links and graphics neatly arranged in a tabled format. There's no chance of visitors getting lost or confused here when you've got everything looking so orderly. 18/20

CONTENT

Interestingly, you have your site section first - as with ANY site section, there's nothing riveting here by any means. It's nothing personal, I just think site sections were designed to be boring. I liked the look of your previous layouts though, the ones I was able to view anyway. Several of the links are broken, so you may want to fix these so people can see more of your creative talents! Onto your "Me" section now - this is often my favourite section of personal websites. Your content here looks very appealing - you've gone through the basics providing the visitor with key information about yourself, and then you've listed some secondary links at the bottom to less important things. I love how you keep referring to yourself as a loser girl - losers rock!! You're coming across as a lively person with a great sense of humour. The pictures of your piercings were cool to look at - I love your plugs! Would you ever consider getting your tongue pierced? I've had mine pierced twice and although it hurts like fuck, it heals quickly and looks great. Something I'd like to point out is that your last page in your "Me" section is a picture page, yet your next section is an entire pictures section by itself. I think it'd be more logical if you included the page of pictures in your "Me" section in your actual "Pictures" section - just organises things a bit more. I love the pin detail on the four corners of each picture, it adds to your punk personality. Moving onto your "Graphics" page - I am in love with your brushes. I would so use these! The only problem is that you haven't stated what application the brushes would work in - PSP or Photoshop? And what version? It's vital to state this information so that people know whether or not they'd be compatible with their application. Your blinkies were also very cool, but why charge money for their usage? Has anyone actually ordered one, when they can get something of the same quality free from somewhere else? Your "Tutorials" page would prove very informative to any budding web designers out there. You've written the tutorials in a basic, straightforward manner that is easily understandable to people without much HTML knowledge. Additionally, your Photoshop 7 tutorials were informative too, even I learned a thing or two. Lastly, your "WWW" section - nothing majorly interesting here but you have set out the information clearly. You've clearly put a lot of effort into your content and it really shows. I'd have to say my favourite section was the "Tutorials", simply because of the way you explain things, in such a simple and understandable style. If you ever opened an entire website devoted to tutorials, it'd be soooo popular! 18/20

SUMMARY

My visit to your site was an enjoyable one, the whole way through. Your layout is absolutely original, and you've put a lot of love and care into it. The same continues with your content, and your devotion to the visitors shows through the many graphics resources you've provided for them to enjoy. Your site is virtually flawless in my opinion - well done, and keep up your awesome punk personality. You're a unique and talented girl, and your site is an assett to you.
